1.Consultation & Design

The first step arrange a consultation to review your current electrical usage and time of use. Our Consultants will then advise on ways of making the most from a PV system and provide an estimated reduction in your energy bills.

We will then measure the available roof space onsite or via Nearmaps aerial image. Our Consultants will then produce a detailed quotation for you on the best possible system for your property,consumption, lifestyle and budget– with a Generate Energy system there are no hidden extras or costs.

2.Applications & Approvals

Once a quotation has been accepted we will then obtain SA Power Networks approval and arrange meter re-programming or replacement meter. The meter will handle bi-directional flows to enable both importing and exporting electricity to the grid. This process can vary depending on your region, however typically allow 2-6 weeks post quotation acceptance.

Any local council or state government application will also be submitted at this point if required.

3.Installation

Installation is performed by our in-house professionally trained SAA accredited solar installers and A class electricians. Firstly the install team will confirm the location of panels and inverterto ensure everything is exactly as you wanted. They will be there to answer any questions you may have through the installation process.

Then we install the cables, rails, panels, Inverter and setup system monitoring. This can take between 3 hours and a full day, depending on your System size and complexity of your property. Upon completion we provide an onsitesystem manual and a verbal brief on the operation of your newly installed solar panel system. Also we shall notify you of the date for the installation of your import/export meter.

4.Post Installation

We will provide you all list of solar panels and inverter serial numbers. Ensure you are satisfied with the installation of your solar panel system. Future maintenance packages can also be arranged/purchased.
